Online Marketing Coordinator

Position Objective:

To promote animal rights through PETA Asia's websites and elsewhere on the Internet

Term of Employment:

Reports to:

Campaigns Manager

Initial Location:

Manila, Philippines (Campaigns headquarters)

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of the complex and diverse online marketing projects that promote PETA Asia's mission
  • Write and edit animal rights–related Web features and other online content
  • Create and carry out marketing plans for PETA Asia's Web content
  • Track and analyze Web traffic and the success of online campaigns and make changes in strategy accordingly
  • Research and explore new promotional possibilities and Internet technologies
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • College degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferable
  • Online marketing experience is preferable
  • Proven interest in and excellent working knowledge of the Internet
  • Extensive knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA Asia campaigns
  • Sophisticated understanding of and appreciation for creative work
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven excellent project management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to conduct and analyze marketing research
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Support for PETA Asia's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA Asia's positions on issues
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
